Our newest project Death by Diamonds and Pearls is a conceptual mix between symbols from the dark ages, mythology (from myths and metaphorical characters to cult objects and social status) and a stylised present-day. The visual style is based on the joining of anachronic elements (armor, helmets, contemporary clothing from the Entrance concept store, motorcycles, accessories) and proposes to the viewer an image of a timeless space in which they are invited to reflect on the human nature.

Evoking cultural references (Saint Sebastian), historical moments and social revolt, the photographs depict the connection between the old and new while brining forth the transformations that take place after the passage of time. The photographs exploit notions such as myth, violence, greed, power struggle and duality. The world presented in these images is a corrupt one where our heroes are the ones that are suffering and being punished. Above all there is a force of justice that aims to restore order.

For example, one of the characters turns into a peacock, a symbol for rebirth in ancient cultures, a rebirth that we wanted to be spiritual.
To summarise, it is a melancholic episode about the vulnerability of beauty giving way to metaphyisical injuries.
